Que algo está ocurriendo en el mundo musical de la República Checa parece evidente, al menos si nos referimos  la labor del sello Indies Records. De hecho, poco despúés de la caída del Muro de Berlín, y tras la separación de las Repúblicas Checa y Eslovaca, Indies Records comenzó a llenar un huevo musical que (supongo) allí existía. Mucho habría que hablar de la gran cantidad de estilos musicales que forman parte del catálogo de Indies Records, pero hoy le ha tocado al grupo Traband y su reciente trabajo, Prítel Cloveka. En este disco escucharemos a sus tres componentes (Jarda Svoboda, Jana Modracková y Vaclav Pohl) tocando harmonium, guitarra, voces varias, trompeta, percusiones reales y caja de ritmos. ¿Su estilo?: Ritmos balcánicos mezclados con brass techno. ¿Su inspiración?: folclore de Bohemia y Moravia, cantos de iglesia, musica tradicional gitana…
